Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — January 16, 2026 — The Civil Servants Professional Development Club convened its third monthly meeting, focusing on human rights. The event brought together practitioners and partner representatives to discuss legal frameworks, workplace sexual harassment, and rights-based approaches in the civil service.

Speakers included Member of Parliament (MP) Mrs. Baasanjargal Kh., National Human Rights Commissioner Mrs. Munkhzul Kh., and Mrs. Julie Dumontier, Technical Advisor to the Canada–Mongolia Merit Project. Discussions highlighted Mongolia’s human rights initiatives, strategies to strengthen civil service practices, and relevant international experiences.
MP Baasanjargal emphasized the State’s duty to ensure the effective and accountable protection of human rights.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion, allowing participants to exchange views and insights.

Distinguished Guest Speaker Luvsanjamts.G, Member of Parliament, delivered a presentation on “Integrating Results-Based Management into State Policy and Governance.”
As participation continues to grow, the COP consistently empowers civil servants to lead with integrity, adapt effectively to change, and share experiences that can be directly applied to their daily work, ultimately enhancing their ability to serve the citizens of Mongolia.

The Professional Development Club is a national learning series designed to strengthen public sector performance. Through monthly gatherings, civil servants exchange insights, align priorities, and apply proven practices, building core competencies in gender equality, human rights, ethics, and modern public management.
