Mongolia Strengthens Results-Based Management Training for Civil Servants

ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA – February 7, 2026 – A pivotal five-day Results-Based Management (RBM) Training of Trainers (ToT) program concluded on February 6, 2026, marking a significant step in enhancing Mongolia’s national capacity for effective governance. Organized collaboratively by the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia, the Academy of Management, and the Canada–Mongolia Merit Project, the initiative aimed to equip key trainers with advanced RBM methodologies.

This comprehensive training was designed to empower national trainers to effectively impart RBM principles and practices to civil servants across various government tiers. The curriculum integrated theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on exercises, real-world case studies, and dynamic interactive group discussions, ensuring a robust and applicable learning experience.

The program successfully engaged 25 participants, representing a diverse cross-section of Mongolia’s public administration. Attendees included officials from the Governors’ Offices and Citizens’ Representative Khurals of Arkhangai, Darkhan-Uul, Dundgovi, Sukhbaatar, and Uvs aimags, alongside representatives from the Civil Service Council, the Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Economy and Development, and the National Academy of Governance.

This training initiative is expected to foster a more accountable, efficient, and results-oriented public service, contributing directly to the realization of Mongolia’s national development objectives.
