Innovative Leadership for Equitable and Accessible Democracy (I-LEAD)

Innovative Leadership For Equitable and Accessible Democracy (i-LEAD) is a three-year initiative, funded through Government of Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.

The project operates in Mongolia, the Philippines and Vietnam. i-LEAD will advance inclusive governance, accountability, innovation and citizen participation by empowering women and marginalized groups through training, mentorship, and outreach.

i-LEAD focus on inclusion strengthens gender-responsive public services and civic engagement, empowering diverse voices to shape government decisions and foster inclusive, lasting local leadership through digital tools.

Ultimate Outcome

Ultimate outcome: Improved equality and enjoyment of human rights, particularly by women and marginalized populations, in Vietnam, the Philippines and Mongolia.

E-GOVERNANCE AND DIGITIZATION

Strengthen civil servant’s capacity to implement the E-Mongolia, improving public service delivery and citizens’ access to digital services



INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK

Support government partners in Mongolia in implementing gender-responsive budgeting at the provincial and district levels, acknowledging distinct needs of women and girls,and enhancing data capabilities

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

Strengthen the ability of non-state actors, including  vulnerable populations, to collaborate  with the government on digital service delivery.
